Departure from Sulmona
The day begins with a hearty breakfast at Stella CasaBono in Sulmona. After that, the five guests board our van to begin their day trip to the Marsica.
First stop: Cocullo
The first stop is Cocullo, a small village known for its Madonna del Soccorso festival, during which worshippers carry a live snake in procession. The fourth stop is Celano, a medieval village dominated by the Piccolomini Castle, one of the largest castles in Abruzzo. The tourists visit the castle and the village's historic center.
Fifth stop: Aielli
The fifth stop is Aielli, a village known for its murals, created by artists from all over the world. The tourists visit the village's historic center and admire the murals.
Return to Sulmona
The day ends with the return to Sulmona. The Swiss tourists are satisfied with the trip, which allowed them to discover the beauty of the Marsica.
